Born in the Appalachians, Ms. Smith has been performing music since the age of three. She first performed with her family in Ashland, Kentucky. Although her roots are in Bluegrass and Gospel, at the age of nineteen Ms. Smith toured with the New York Performance/Rhythm and Blues band, Pegasus. She has toured throughout the United States with many other bands. She has also done music and voice-over work in Radio and television. Ms. Smith has been the Music Director for Namasté Science of Mind and Spirit Center in Long Beach since its founding in 1999. In addition, Ms. Smith is a dynamic lead vocalist and plays a variety of musical instruments.
