Music is something that came from inside me since the moment I was born. Music is my dance and I love to enchant her...To dance with her is what makes me feel alive. I am the oldest of 5 siblings who are each very creative and unique people. They write and compose music. My parents also were song writers and singers from a young age. My Mother "Jo" was signed to Capitol Records in the 50''s. My father was the leader of a band. My success has come to me with the help of my youngest brother Paul (SIRPAUL). We have written music togther since we were very young. I am excited about the release of my first full length CD "Cherylyn". I have put out singles/vinyl in the past. My music has been played all over the world thanks to DJ''s and distruibution. I have been played "on the radio" which has been exciting over the last few years. Co-owner of Controversial Records; along with my partners SIRPAUL and Andreas Anastasis. This new CD is an introduction to the fun loving sexy side of Cherylyn. There are so many things I want to share with everyone. I just love feeling sexy and shaking my thing. So, I hope you enjoy it and do the same. Here is one of my favorite poems: The Boat I travel in is called surrender. My two oars are forgiveness and gratitude - complete gratitude for the gift of life. I am thankful for the experience of this life, for the opportunity to dance. I get angry, I get mad, but as soon as I remind myself to put my oars in the water, I forgive. I serve. I do the dance I must. I plant trees, but I am not the doer of this work. I am the facilitator, the instrument - I am part of the symphony. I know there is an overall scheme to this sympony that I cannot understand. In some ways, we are each playing our own part. It is not for me to judge or criticize the life or work of another.
