"La Flor" is a beautiful masterpiece. Born in 1980 from a long generation of respected musicians, it is no doubt music thrives in her blood. Monica has been captivating audiences with her stunning vocals and charismatic performances from a VERY early age. This album, released in 1998 under Sigala Records, marked a launching point in her vocal career.
Each song was arranged by the well-known and sought after Mexican musician, Juan Manuel Cortez. He also composed the lively "Tierra Indiana"(Native Soil), and the gorgeous melody "Alma Enamorada" (Soul in Love) exclusively for this album.
