With all the problems that African Americans deals with as a people, we need to stand up and recognize what is happening to us. We need to stand up for ourselves and fight through the struggle so that we can come stronger than ever.

I wrote this CD to let my people know that, through my life I too have faced challenges and struggles. I am a fighter and I continue to fight my way through and come out of every situation on top, with the help of the lord. If we stick together we will become a more powerful society of people and not let anything keep us down. We need to uplift each other and be proud of who we are. We have come a long way, but there is still a ways to go.

I hope this CD can open the eyes of my people and let them know they can make it and that they are not alone in this world. It may seem that nobody care, but I do. I want to make a difference so that our kids can see a better world than the one I grew up in.
