El Artifice / The Artificer

I was about seventeen when I realized, or better to say, I became aware that an old guitar was hanging on one of the corners of my house. I took the guitar dusted it, began strumming it, got me a chords books and began learning. Since then I''ve never ceased learning about music. I played mexican folklore and romantic music in a quintet during my college years. Our quintet name was "Romance Musical". Serenades, social receptions and other events were our favorite spots. We did play at restaurants too, anniversaries, etc. Now I enjoy all types of music but incline my ears to barroque, classical, opera, some modern pop, Latina, and other rythms from my ethnic background and ancient roots.

This music comes from my heart, and it is to express parts of my own experiences, feelings, ideas, knowledge, faith, and emotions.

Esta música brota desde el corazón y es para expresar algo de mis propias experiencias, sentimientos, ideas, conocimientos, fe, y emociones.

The purpose of music could be limitless; however, I incline myself to capture my own experience and feelings.
