Jimmy Spliff is 24 years old and lives in Osnabrueck, Germany. Hes doing Rap Music since 9 years, mostly as Rapper but sometimes also as a Producer and Songwriter for other Artists. He is Bi-Lingual because of his British father and his German mother, but in his Music he uses the English language very rarely and sticks to German. His lyrics are mostly conscious, like politics, social problems or true-life stories, True-Skool Music. He tries to rap complex topics in a simple way, so that his lyrics dont just touch the intelligent listens but also those from the streets who usually wouldnt listen to such lyrics. He has got a long list of experience working as an artist in the studio and on stage. Working in a Jazz-Band developed his skills as well as performing in front of foreign crowds in Netherlands, Serbia, Britain and Spain, and huge crowds like on the Splash Festival in Chemnitz, Germany 2005. Until now he has released a row of records, the most important to be Do it yourself 1+2 Promotapes with are available free for download and the Guter Kurs LP with is considered the real debut album released in summer 2006.
