Manila-born J Michaels, formerly of the Sultans, has shared the stage with legendary rock artists like Ambrosia, Terry Sylvester (formerly of the Hollies), John Ford Coley, Yvonne Elliman, Gary Puckett, and Stephen Bishop.

The 2004 release of "Collaboration" features fantastic guest artists and producers from Hawaii and beyond ~ Saxophonist Extraordinaire David Choy, Swedish producer Henry Bergstrom, Storyteller/Songwriter Gordon Freitas, Vocalist Willie Aarona (formerly of Ho''okena), and International HitMixer DJ Jimmy Taco, just to name a few.
