Growing up in the church has given me some of my favorite memories. Some of those times were after a youth service or a church service; someone would get on the piano and start playing. Soon the old hymnal was out and someone was singing. One by one others would join in - such a beautiful presence of the Spirit - I will always rember those nights. This album is a collection of some of those old hymns with some new ones played and sung by some of my friends, which make up the mingymings. I recorded live to capture the essence of the moment. I hope you feel something more than just a bunch of songs, but also what we felt - the sweet presence of the Lord.
