I was born in Savannah, GA, raised on nearby Tybee Island, and moved to Nashville in 1986 to pursue songwriting. I am fortunate to have written for some of my favorites in my time here including Emmylou Harris, Patty Loveless, Bonnie Raitt, Lee Roy Parnell, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Delbert McClinton, Reba McEntire, Suzy Bogguss, Don Williams and Hal Ketchum. Some of the songs on this album you''ll recognize, and some of them are still looking for a home; but I am grateful for every one of them and for the good people to whom they''ve led me.
