This is an album I completed after a long bout of silence and depression. These were songs I composed from a time period of 1979 to 1999. It is really a journey to recovery of the spirit. I owe much to my executive producer Phoebe Larmore, whose belief and indefatigable spirit was a life blessing in the process to completion.
I recorded “Whispering Roots” at home, and played all instruments. It is not quite the sonic treat as “My Fatal Flaw” but there is a strong narrative thread and great intimacy that hold it together as a piece worth listening to.
