After losing his mother very unexpectedly in 2005, Brandon took some time off to stay home with his father and begin the healing process. So for the first time in more than five years, Palisade took a break from the road. And they had no idea how much they needed it. Coming off of that break, the three began to write through their feelings of loss and desperation, and found themselves moving through the different phases of healing along with Brandon.
