have used the terms "groovy rhythm(s)" and "hauntingly beautiful."

A.C. first produced his solo, instrumental album "Drifters" and then teamed with Jenn, a vocalist, to create azure rising.

They experimented with various musical styles, but found it difficult to decide on one particular style. As a result, the music you will hear on this album is an integration of various styles. On azure rising''s debut album, Lessons, you will get a taste of this variety of styles--in other words, you''ll never get bored.

While categorized as down tempo/chill, azure rising concentrates on creating a thematic quality for each of the songs. This provides a richness and wholeness which are not heard in more commercial songs.
