In 1998, violinist and vocalist Andrea de Boer finally followed her inner calling and began writing songs about her personal experiences in life and love, about loss and hope, and in following her calling, gave her strong artistic personality a new vehicle of expression named blueVenus. Soon after, she met her future writing partner, guitarist and arranger/composer Devrim Eldelekli at Berklee College of Music. They settled down in Andrea´s hometown, Toronto, where they performed numerous concerts (incl. in Boston and Frankfurt) and developed their own unique sound as a duo. At the same time they worked feverishly on their full band debut album, which was recorded in Toronto with producers Iain McNally (former guitarist of Amanda Marshall) and Juno Award Winner https://www.tradebit.com Young (Prince).
