Buddy Merrill was featured on National Television
for 20 years as guitarist with the Lawrence Welk Orchestra.
His ''sound on sound'' style is based on the Les Paul
technique . On this CD Buddy features smooth guitars
with strings on standards such as ''Ode To Billy Joe''
and also exciting renditions of "Mack The Knife" and
"Busy Bee" , Buddy''s adaptation of "Flight Of The Bumblebee". His arrangement of "Orange Blossom Special"
has a country flavor combined with special effects which make for an outstanding presentation.
Buddy used eight different guitars recording this album.
Drums and Percussion session players are Earl Palmer-
John Klein and Bill Lewis .
