The original version was played at almost every home game during the 1994 playoffs when the Vancouver Canucks made it to game 7 against... some other hockey team.

Hockey Night in Nashville is featured on the CD "Hockey''s Greatest Hits Vol. 1" -- which is available in the Hockey Hall of Fame. And how cool is that?
