ROCK: Modern Rock, POP: British Pop

Details:
Canadian Invasion possess what The Washington Post calls "British-pop sensibilities mixed with guitar-driven American rock that can leave you happily humming the tunes". On Tap magazine says their new EP is "one of the best recordings (of the) year...The songs are as big as Radiohead or Oasis but without the pretense; they can drive like classic Who or Kinks, but with much more clarity and texture."

In May 2003, Canadian Invasion released Blame the Robots, a five song E.P. recorded and produced by Stewart Myers (Agents of Good Roots, Bicycle Thieves) and mastered by Fred Kevorkian (White Stripes, Juliana Hatfield, Sonic Youth) at Absolute Audio in New York City. The Washington Post quickly took notice of the release, naming one track an online "Editor''s Pick." The first single, "495", reached #1 on said music site the week it debuted, and continues to be one the most downloaded.
