Comme Si De Rien N’Etait is a french independent feature film written, directed and starring Pierre-Olivier Mornas. The film was released in 2003 and won over 20 awards in different festivals around the world, including the public’s choice awards at the New York French Film festival and the Paris Film festival (2003).

The soundtrack by Lawrence Collins uses acoustic instruments (guitar, piano, saxophone) to preserve the intimate and emotional energy of the film. Inspired by the soundtrack of Good Will Hunting, that featured the late Elliott Smith, Collins uses songs to illustrate and color different scenes. Original intrumental compositions featuring the piano of Ludovic Garcia complete the understated musical tapestry that make this soundtrack so unique.

Collins also brought in other artists, notably Tôt ou Tard’s Constance Amiot and french poet Anne Sophie De Goy. The result is a bi-lingual, soothing and emotional soundtrack that relaxes the listener and enhances the senses.
