Not content with being a follower by using jewelry and expensive cars as a crutch, he creates his own lyrical space on tracks such as "Shut it Down" and "Soft As Concrete". Born Freddie Lucas in Hampton, VA AfterDark relocated to Decatur, GA in 1995 to pursue an education as an electronics engineering major at DeVry Institute of Technology. Since his migration he has been honing his skills by working with local talent earning him credits on several independently released projects
