edikt groov'' modern lights....elctric joy is a feel good journey into the bliss of the unknown, but yet so close to everyone''s heart. It is a collection of colors that explode on every song and leave you wondering where the next song is going to take you.
Production of the project was done by veteran engineer/producer Pierre D. Mayo who has worked with a slew of artist from Tim Miner to David Gough, Dwele to Slum Village, D.O.C. to Ge Gee, just name a few.
Vocals where done by the soulful style of Travon Brooks and blended with the rap vocals of Earl Hunt aka E-cre with just a splash of Dance hall vocals by Eyan Stephens, creating this exciting album that is a must have if you like to feel good about life (Check out the track "Savior") and the salvation of Jesus Christ.
It''s Hard to compare the group to anyone; Pierre states, it''s just one of those projects that you do and it draws people in, from all walks of life. White, Black, Jewish and Gentile. It''s a project I do every year to express what I feel as a producer and composer through other artist.
Pierre says the next edikt groov'' concept album is due late 2007-08 and it to will be a different walk of life, to follow his own and the artist on it.
