Cradlevision was formed in 2001 by singer/guitarist Jim Magary and drummer Mike P. Drafting guitarist Matt Blank and bassist Jeff Francisco, the band quickly developed its unique modern rock sound. Combining melodic, thoughtful, often frantic songs with high-energy musicianship, Cradlevision''s music hints at the band members'' diverse influences yet is entirely original.

After playing shows at some of NYC''s top venues, Cradlevision''s first CD, Lift Your Burden, was released in November 2003.
