Details:
Val is a liturgical composer of contemporary psalm settings, canticles, sacred songs, a singer & guitarist and a member of the JHN Group who produce a series of CDs of Morning & Evening Prayer - the prayer of the church.

She has worked as a pastoral musician in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Middlesbrough since the 1970''s - encouraging both young musicians and singers in their parish music groups and also, assisting with liturgical music for the mass in various parishes around the Middlesbrough Diocese and is also curently ivnolved in creating a Middlesbrough Taize Choir.
Although Val currently plays and sings on a regular basis in several parishes in the Middlesbrough Diocese,she is based at her home parish of Holy Name of Mary, Linthorpe. Val is also a member of Bishop''s Council for Liturgy for the Middlesbrough Diocese.

Her recent solo CD ''Light Divine'' was produced by Colin Mawby with Richard Lewis and has fourteen of her original compositions. The CD is published by Kevin Mayhew.

Her recent prayer CD - which was recorded with Fr. Anthony Storey is ''Loving God''.
