Roots and Wings, is an homage to family relationships and the bonds that exist between loved ones. This Special Edition EP was released in reponse to the demand for the song "The Gift," which is a personal thank-you to parents everywhere from their children. The five songs that comprise this CD are singular in theme, yet come from a variety of sources. Including the song "Back To You," which is taken from the words of a poem written in 1944, by a seventeen-year old girl to her beau on the event of his leaving to fight in WW II. Though the words are written from a 1944 perpective, they are equally applicable to today''s soldier.

*Includes two bonus tracks from Dan May''s next CD, due to be released in 2006.
