Recorded entirely in the Starr''s Guitars Recording Studio in Cedaredge, Colorado, "Time & Contrition" features nine new songs written and performed by David Starr.
The CD displays focus and variety as it covers territory from small towns to sobriety to love and loss.

David Starr is a native of the fertile R & B club scene of Fayetteville, Arkansas. He has spent time as a part of the Aspen, Colorado scene as well.
He now resides in Cedaredge, Colorado on the states'' western slope.
Influences are as varied as the Cate Brothers, The Band, Todd Rundgren, The Eagles, JD Souther and Steely Dan.

While he began his musical journey as a drummer at age 10, Starr now plays all instruments, sings all vocal parts and performs all engineering tasks on the two CDs for sale on this site.
