Angie Lendon was born in the North of England and now resides in Hull where she is a worship leader at New Life Christian Centre.

As a songwriter Angie has had songs included on various compilations, the most recent being Re-leased, an innovative project of grass roots writers from various churches produced by Chris Bowater.

The worship journey started in a small congregation in the Yorkshire Wolds and has provided opportunity to minister in many other venues and situations.

This has included leading worship at Grapevine’s youth venue “synergy”, providing backing vocals for Godfrey Birtle at “The Call” and singing as part of the vocal group on the main stage at Grapevine.

Her debut album “Honesty” is a collection of songs written from walking the road of faith in Jesus and sharing her experiences and observations.

After studying for two years at the Worship Academy under the teaching of Chris Bowater and Andy Bromley Angie has now returned to the Academy but this time as part of the team where she leads worship and teaches.

As well as ministering at the Academy, Angie is choir director at New Life in Hull where she trains and leads a 20 strong choir. She is also editor of the Worship Academy website and is part of the auditioning panel for https://www.tradebit.com. All this combined with being a wife and mother of a son (18) and daughter (14) keeps her happily on her toes!
