Bernadette Scott formed The Love Movement Chorus almost 30 years ago by taking young people who were at risk, cleaning them up and teaching them to sing. There now are 3 choirs of different age groups, seniors(the kids who grew up), teens and little children, all under her tutelage. They have recorded many albums and have earned countless awards as a result of the love and care of this more than amazing and remarkable woman. She does much of her work out of her own pocket with the occasional funding from donations, she writes songs, teaches parts, sews costumes and plays organ in her own parish as well. The list of her jobs goes on and on with the most wonderful of results. This is more than a group of choirs. No matter their ages, these are her children who adore her; clearly this is a close knit family. All of these wonderful singers work their hardest to make Bernadette proud of them. And every single person who has ever been to a Love Movement concert or experienced a Love Movement CD has been blessed beyond measure.
