Hello my name is Deanne Hanna-Ewers. I was born and raised on the island of The Bahamas, but I now live in West Palm Beach, FL. Like many other singers I too started singing in church at an early age. I have been singing for many years in many churches, then with the encouragement of my husband, Pastor David and the prayers of my mother I finally completed my first CD entitled Fresh Anointing.

This CD is comprised mostly of scriptures set to music. As a matter of fact, I consider myself to be a psalmist. I believe that I am a modern day David. I enjoy reading the scriptures, but moreso, I enjoy setting them to music.

If you were to listen carefully to my songs you will notice one trend -- they are scripturally base. The first song, Seek Ye First is taken from Matthew 6:33. Other scripturally base songs are as follows: The Blessings of the Lord make rich, Ps 15, Exploits, and I will Exalt Thee (Psalms 145). The songs Levels of Praise and Fresh Anoiting were written from messages I heard in church. Further, Praise the Name and Close to You were songs that were birth from private time with God, and Let me sing a song was written by husband. It was a song that was birth from his private prayer time with God.

My songs are simple and inviting -- the same way the gospel should be. My voice is rich and smooth and I hope it convey''s my love of the scriptures to you.

I would like to invite you to purchase my CD and enjoy the scriptures in song. I look forward to making more music for Jesus, and taking them right from the precious word of God.
