My name is Sammy Kennedy. Singing and writting songs are my passion. Originally I am from a small town in Northeast Texas called Pittsburg,Tx. I now reside in the Houston, Texas area with my beautiful wife and our three children. Growing up, I was greatly influenced by my mother and father to sing and I have always been a fan of quartet music and great soloist such as my late uncle Eugene Boyd. At one point in my life the desire to sing was not there and I didnt sing for a years. God has a way of bringing the best out of each of us. Throughout my singing years, I have came in contact with a number of national artist. I have sang with the late Brenda Waters, Lonicko Hardin and the Gigantic Overland Travelers. At any given weekend, you may find me at a local church in the Texas area singing God''s praises. On all of the songs that I have on the "Invite Him In" cd, I perform both lead and background.
