Bio

Terry Trower is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida and has served as both an educator and an Elementary School Guidance Counselor.
She has authored numerous publications for children including “Furious Fables”,
“Self-Esteem Stories”, “ The Kid Counselor Series,” and a board game entitled
“The Self-Control Patrol” which is currently marketed by Childswork-Childsplay.
During her years as a Guidance Counselor, she wrote songs with various themes, which she incorporated into her classroom guidance routine. She ended every classroom lesson by teaching a song to the students. She strongly believes that children will better remember ideas and lessons when they are set to the universal language of music. The songs included on “The Kid Counselor Songfest” deal with friendship, test anxiety, exercise, and health.
