Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Leigh A. Russ. I am currently a middle school science teacher and song writer. Being a product of the 60''s "Folk Era", my music has a "Folksy" sound to it which instantly attracts the young and the young at heart. The unique phrasing of my music allows the listener to gain an understanding of "scientific concepts" with minimal effort.

I have been composing science related songs to supplement my own teaching lessons since 2002. Performing them with my own classes with a high degree of success, my songs are fun to sing along to and encourage audience participation.

Since 2002, I have performed for the primary grades (K-2) elementary grades (3-5), and the middle grades (6-8) Schools where I teach, Where I recieved extremely positive results from students, faculty and administration.
