JHN Music is an independent, nonprofit making publisher of contemporary Christian/Catholic music, based in the Diocese of Middlesbrough in England. We are a small group of both religious and lay people, working together to make this kind of audio tape/CD available.

We began making our Morning & Evening Prayer tapes in the early 1990''s under the guidance of Fr. James Walsh - marist father from the Middlesbrough Diocese, who recognized the need and importance of the minisitry of prayer.

The focus of our efforts is to produce audio cassettes and CD''s of Morning & Evening prayer that offer a selection of alternative psalms, canticles, readings and prayers that have been carefully based on the structure of the ''Liturgy of the Hours''. Prayer, not performing is the soul of our effort. We hope you will find our tapes and CDs helpful in lifting up your heart and that you will be drawn into prayer rather than "just listening".
