Describing music or musicians with the term "ambient" these days is less specific than it used to be. But that''s what e fisch is. Solo electric guitar is used to create evolving textures and improvised sonic landscapes that combine the moment with structure.

This eponymous debut by e fisch is his first collection of solo ambient music. Virtually all of the pieces on this cd were recorded in a single take. Overdubs were kept to a minimum as improvisation and chance blend with composition to create unique musical textures. As a soundtrack to a non-existent film, these improvs encourage the mind to follow.

An unreleased track
"A Grey Breeze Where Once There Was Presence"
was chosen to close the "Guitars For Freedom II" benefit CD
