Monty Pollard is a (play by ear/self taught) keyboardist who enjoys creating music that (Does Something) to and for the listener. Monty''s initial musical orientation began by
listening to his father play congo drums for afro-cuban bands and sessions. Monty later migrated to the piano after
listening to his sister practicing on the piano. He started
with one finger until teaching himself to use ten. Later on
he played in a local band in the teen years. Later in life
he played in a few bands and did a little road work. Event-
ually dedicating his life and his music to the Lord he played in the local church. Monty decided to fuse his musical roots with his spiritual experience in creating a
jazz, Latin, worship, praise, mixture that can minister to
the whole man. Venturing into digital technology opened a door into which Monty found that allowed him to interpret
a number of musical recording options which ended up on the
Second Harvest CD.
