The Other Side of Paradise, the debut album from indie/punk trio Ocean Blvd, is a roots-inspired (but modern-influenced) collection of 17 songs written over the last three years. Drawing inspiration from such bands as Bad Religion, Face to Face, Social Distortion and Blink-182, the song-writing duo of Stefan Strychar and Blake Parsons has created an album of melodic yet hard-hitting music that crosses several genres but stays true to their influences.
