If you can remember back to your 6th Grade earth science class (where you learned about photosynthesis, and how volcanoes work, and the difference between stalactites and stalagmites, etc) you might remember learning about watersheds. In nature, a watershed is a place where a body of moving water either changes direction or joins with other bodies of water to form a larger body.

In the broader sense, a watershed is where things change, and where everything seems to be either coming together or breaking apart. A watershed moment is a point in your life where things change forever.

In the Bible, any time a person interacts with Christ, they go away changed in some way - they are healed, forgiven of sins, resurrected, challenged in their way of thinking or living, or in some other way changed. Having an encounter with Jesus Christ is always a watershed moment, because it is the culmination of every life event preceding it, and it changes the direction of every event and decision thereafter.

As a band, it is our desire for people to be encouraged to seek a closer relationship with Jesus through any interaction they have with us, musical or otherwise, so that we might indeed be a watershed that redirects them to Christ, the agent of change and Savior of mankind, in whom everything comes together and everything breaks apart.
