Be Not Idle In Preparation Of Thy Doom is the solo project of Christopher MacKinnon (Desecrative Phoneticism). Created in 2006 as an outlet for the production of a colder, more bleak expression than Chris has manifest in other projects. Be Not Idle In Preparation Of Thy Doom is bitterly depressive. Cold, doomy Ambiance, dissonnant guitars and oppressive vocal manipulation creep gradually outward from the vortex to enslave the listener. Where each attempt to discover something beautiful in the world on the other side is completely suffocated in germs. Each immersion into this shadowy realm is like drowning in a putrid, black sea where the spirit is crushed utterly in the surrounding gloom.
