The majority of her cd compositions are in the classical genre but she hasn''t restricted her composing to the classics--she has composed many middle of the road ballads,an opera,and a musical; Ms. Canepa leaves herself open to what moves her creatively. Ms. Canepa''s descriptive lyrics evoke the past memories of a Monterey that "once was" but brings to mind descriptive thoughts of the present natural beauty of an inspiring Monterey bay historic town and the entire Monterey peninsula.
