After pursuing a musical theater degree from the University of Miami, Jeni Hacker settled into the music scene as a jazz and blues singer. A new chapter in her life began with the marriage to her husband Jim, and the birth of her children, Reed and Baily. Jeni focused all her energies into being the optimal wife and mother, and put her singing career aside.

Lee Levin has been a professional musician since he graduated from the University of Miami in 1989. Immersed in the South Florida Pop/Latin music and recording scene for the past eighteen years, Lee admits that when he began making children’s music “It’s some of the most fun I’ve ever had”. Lee resides in South Florida with his wife Heather and six year old son, Noah.

Lee and Jeni attended UM at the same time, however they never worked together until recently. As they began song writing for Jeni’s solo project, they were always exchanging funny anecdotes about their children. Hence the Jeni-Lee project was formed.
