This is just a short letter to formally introduce you to "OUR FATHER''S CHILDREN".
"OUR FATHER''S CHILDREN" is a group that has been together for over fourteen years. The group consists of Yvonne MacMillan, lead vocal/, Carrie Ahearn, keyboard/, Kelvin Rose, keyboard/, Syd Kidder, bass/, and Dick Williams, drums.
Over the years "OUR FATHER''S CHILDREN" has shared the stage with some of gospel''s best. Some of the groups they have shared the stage with are: "The Children of God", The Voices of Clouds, "The Gospel Crusaders" and Grammy award winner Luther Barnes, just to name a few.
At the 2001 New York State Gospel Group convention the band was nominated as Best New Artist, in April of 2006, the band placed third overall and in April 2007 was awarded first place, at the TAO Ministries "Pressing Toward Your Vision Showcase", at the Riverside Convention Center in Rochester, New York.

Their unique ministry is their ability to tell the Gospel story through their songs. The band''s style of music reaches people from many different age groups and effectively carries the message of Jesus to the people. Their music is not overtly religious or in-your-face, but the story they tell and the way they tell it, gets people to stop and think about the message and their own spirituality. Much of their original music has a mysterious sense of spirituality that transcends the wonderful lyrics, melody, and rhythm.
"OUR FATHER''S CHILDREN", are forever grateful for the gift of music the Lord has so graciously given them. They love to share their gift and have everyone clap their hands, sing, dance, and praise the Lord with them. The mission of "OUR FATHER''S CHILDREN" is to "Spread The Gospel thru Song".
