Released by the Music Department of United Student Movement, the student government association of Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama, the compilation highlights the music ministry of Oakwood University community throughout its 112 year history.
With a healthy combination of fluidity and versatility, "The Experience: Renewed" features a genre of music palatable to every taste – from the soulful sounds of Wendi Williams, Jasmine Jacobs, and Shelea Frazier to the resonating melodies of Mervyn Warren and Take 6 to the modern sounds of Virtue, Amber Bullock and Xavier O''Connor, gives new meaning to expression “like music to my ears.”
