Deutsche Welle turned out to consume a lot of energy and time for such a short album. The German language uses a distinct rhythm when spoken aloud, so it is relatively easy to compose something. I started by selecting poems many Germans I have had to learn by heart on elementary school.

I created a musical track under each poem in such a way that no harm is done to the nature of the poem itself. The musical tracks took me on average some four months each to produce. This process was so slow as I was not in a position to work non-stop at this project but had to fit it in in the odd hours left and in weekends. The studio recording time was also limited to a max of three hours per session.

It is often a good habit of letting a composition settle for some time before resuming work on the same.
