Electronic pranksters RURIK have always gotten a double-take on their name, but don''t think this is going to get them to change it. "...looks good with a lot of ''R''s and ''K''s," says singer Christofer. Post-punky influences show through as slinky guitar lines, out-of-control keys, and christofer''s "love it or hate it" helium-hyped melodies created music just a little difficult to put a finger on. Over the past few years the group has slipped into a style that seems to suit them distancing themselves from common genres carelessly mixing rock, electronic, progressive, foot-stomping pogo punk.
