Port of Spain, Trinidad based rock act Orange Sky rose to major status on their home island by supporting the likes of visiting artists such as Skid Row, Hatebreed, Six Feet Under and Ludacris. Style wise, the band blends modern-edged Metal and Rock with Reggae infusions. So popular throughout the Caribbean is the band that the Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Tourism officially named them International Ambassadors. In mid-2005, the band acted as support for Adema, then followed with two tours supporting Yngwie Malmsteen throughout North American in 2005 and 2006. The band took much of 2007 to develop and record their forthcoming release, DAT IZ VOODOO. Under the umbrella of StarCity Recording Company, Orange Sky is poised to vault into the world rock and metal area in 2008 with a summer tour across the US planned to coincide with their CD release.
