Clear Creek Stringband is an Old Time Stringband based in the Western region of Pennsylvania. They offer the most down home, fun-loving, biscuit baking mountain music north of Cincinnati. Playing a lot of old time traditionals and as many songs as Shannon Burns(mandolin) and Joe Degenaro(banjo) can write. They started playing as a group during the winter of 2006. With a sound somewhere between Old Time and Traditional bluegrass they are hard to classify. But, one thing is for sure: Clear Creek brings the excitement and energy of an Old Time Barn Dance, and you can’t help but stomp your feet.
