Little Sparta & Sally Timms is the first release from Grey Gallery Records. The Grey Gallery is a UK based gallery without walls which deals in visual arts, music & the written word and has recently put on shows by artists Jock McFadyen, Richard Wilson and Bob & Roberta Smith.

Little Sparta have released albums independently and on Fire Records while also having produced songs for film & television. The band’s sound brings to mind artists such as the Dirty Three, The Rachels and Ennio Morricone.

Sally Timms has the voice of an angel and the mouth of a sailor. Having spent years with the legendary punk rock band The Mekons, Sally has also released a number of solo records and is currently on Bloodshot Records.
