Originating from rock band CAVE, lead singer Mat Lawrence went solo in 2004. From always being in rock bands for many years, his decision to go solo was a big one. Not only that, but the change in musical direction was a large step also. His debut album STOKED has taken a year to produce and record. Strongly influenced by the likes of John Lennon and Coldplay, Homebredsoul keeps his original vocal style as recognised from the early CAVE days.
