RNC is composed of two MC''s - Naes & Double, who were both raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and they have both been fans of hip-hop since day 1. Double started off free-styling as a youngster, while Naes stuck to the pen and pad throughout his early years. Throughout their years of MC’ing they have continually polished their skills through extensive research on music, writing, as well as an extremely driven work ethic. They have both been independent artists for a number of years, and in 2004 they formed up to create Rubbaneck Cinema – the show was on from there! Naes & Double put their hearts into the music that they create and aim to create an entertaining sound with an underlining message at all times. They have been widely influenced from artists such as Andre Nickatina, Atmosphere, Mac Dre, E-40, Eminem, Brother Ali, and Aesop Rock just to name a few… The RNC creates their own sound that is influenced by many artists but sounds like nothing out there – listen to the EP to get a feel...
