The Providence, RI based Illustrious Day is creating a buzz in the regional music scene as their 2002 debut CD, "Dizzy Fell Down", has garnered glowing reviews and radio airplay. They are growing a strong fan base as they continue to perform at clubs, festivals and colleges throughout the Northeast. Jackie also performs solo and has played such shows as the Hear in RI Songwriters Festival and The World Athletic Scholar Olympics in Newport, RI. Jackie has also played the R.I.S.A. Stage of The Newport Folk Festival whose main stage featured Shawn Colvin and The Indigo Girls. Jackie is a nominee for Best Female Vocalist in The Providence Phoenix Best Music Poll 2004.
