Ah, the ultimate garage band...20 years of Monday nights devoted to fun and creativity...the result is the newly released "Near Life Experience". While other bands were relentlessly trying to "make it" during the same period, The Freds were relentlessly trying to make mortgage payments, raise kids and deal with day jobs. Now available, after 4 years in the works, this collaborative effort is more like a slice of "real life experience". Great Music!

Imaginary Freds has 5 singers, 4 of them songwriters. No one song represents this compilation of 4 distinct musical styles: rock, folk, country and blues. Please sample a few seconds of each track to hear their wide diversity.
