Melding elements of Hip-Hop, Rock, Soul, and Funk into one cohesive and melodic sound, the Philadelphia based band, The Hustle have a diverse appeal based on their impressive musical dexterity. Often sharing bills with Indie Rockers, Jam and Pop Bands, as well as Singer/Songwriters, they do not fit comfortably into one specific genre; their music is rooted in traditional hip-hop, but feature live instruments instead of looped samples or beats and mesmerizing vocals. Their lyrics are often socially conscious, but they also incorporate themes that reflected warmth, positivity and the importance of being true to oneself.

MC Kuf Knotz, and Singer/Songwriter Nora Whittaker front the group with their inspiring vocals. Band members include Bassist Kurtis Shakemore, Drummer Bradlee Beats, Turntablist DJ Kingspin, and Guitarist Tom Copson, Jr., who further enrich the Hustle’s unique sound.
