John Christian Edward proudly announces the release of his first solo CD "from glen to glen" This project contains songs of traditional and modern celtic songs concluding with one of the sweetest renditions of Danny Boy possibly ever recorded.

the project was inspired by a concert John did with the San Diego Symphony in 2003. It was at this concert that John first met and performed with Brian Baynes, celtic guitarist, Wanda Law, fiddler, Dave Page, percussion, Eric Rigler, Uilleann pipe player(most noted for his recording of soundtracts from "Titanic", Braveheart", and "Million Dollar Baby" and also the piper at Ronald Regeans funeral). Together with these artists and Natalie Haas, this year''s Scottish Traditional Music Award Winner, John completed his first solo CD.

The music has been called healing, sensuous, and exquisit. John''s voice has been described as pure, mellow, with an impressive range. Although John considers himself an Irish Tenor, he feels his voice lies on the sweet end of that genre. The Orange County Register reviewed one of John''s concerts and referred to his sound as "almost virginal" (He had a hard time living that compliment down, lol)
